The Product Manager plays a critical role in the Software Development Lifecycle.   In this position, you will be responsible for defining and maintaining the product roadmap, creating detailed specifications for new features, and working directly with the Development and QA teams to ensure delivered functionality meets customer and market requirements.   You will interface with Developers, QA, Sales, Operations, internally, as well as Support staff and external customers to ensure the quality and market-readiness of their products.

This role is based North of Torontol and reports to the CTO.

Job Description

  • Establish and maintain the product roadmap.

  • Communicate the roadmap to all stakeholders (internal and external).

  • Define product requirements and create detailed specifications for new features.

  • Manage the overall product lifecycle from strategic planning to go to market release plans

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to define business goals, global market and customer requirements

  • Communicate and work with all areas of the company to ensure that products meet market requirements

  • Seek out requirements from customers and prospects through electronic, phone, and face to face activities

  • Work with development teams on a daily basis to ensure that features under development are meeting business needs

  • Understand our competitors and market trends to drive product requirements that keep Gaming Nation in a leadership position

  • Make product presentations to prospects, customers and partners

  • Work with marketing to create materials that educate our customers and sales staff on the capabilities of our products

  • Ensure tasks and assignments are delivered according to expectations.

  • Provide effective and timely communication with management and the development team.

  • Work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent

  • 5+ years experience as a Product Manager within a software vendor/ISV

  • Demonstrated experience with successful software product management efforts and launches

  • Experience working with online e-commerce products and systems (Point of Sale, credit card processing)

  • Strong Knowledge of cloud applications and SaaS

  • Knowledge of Pragmatic Marketing and other product management frameworks

  • Solid understanding of the product development life cycle

  • Well-developed communication skills - oral, written, listening.

  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and motivational skills including the ability to lead, facilitate and organize

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment

  • Self-motivated individual who takes pride in delivering high quality work

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced small company, results oriented environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment

  • Experience with gambling regulations and certification processes is an asset.
