Moving to 100% non-waterfall (agile) for next fiscal year. This PM will start with waterfall and shortly will move to agile. WHO THEY WILL WORK WITH ON A DAILY BASIS: Will be reporting to a Portfolio Manager (very senior and tenured PM), Desktop Development team, QA partners. 

DAILY DUTIES: Leading waterfall/agile projects - technology driven projects (65%), business facing projects (35%)

• Looking for someone on the Infrastructure side if possible – network, desktop technologies. 
• Well versed Project Methodology (PMI and SDLC)
• Must be able to create a project plan and manage to it

• Agile experience/ training
• Desktop Application experience
• Financial Management strongly preferred (budgets) 
• Versatile PM experience is good
• Contact centre Technology background
• Jira/Confluence

Job Description:
• Define test plans and ensure that products are defect free before User Acceptance Testing. 
• Develop, track and manage project budget, project plans, timelines and scope. 
• Effectively oversee project staff (direct reports, matrixed reports, contractors, and interns), delegating work to appropriate leads.
• Efficiently communicate to stakeholders to manage expectations and project progress.
• Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized. 
• Ensure that necessary risk assessments are continually reviewed and monitored and proactively addressed in a timely fashion.
• Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process, developing rollout plans and procedures. 
• Lead teams of developers in the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs. 
• Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors. 
• Manage medium to large scale projects working collaboratively with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical resources.
• Manage project resources including procuring project staff, developing, motivating, coaching and advising.
• Partner closely with other members of functional project teams to define business requirements. 
• Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses. 
• Successfully plan, execute, control and close projects against defined scope and budget

Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor' s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. 
• PMP or PMI certification.
• Proven project management experience.
• People management and team building skills. 
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities.
• Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization. 
• Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions. 
• Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment.
• Extensive practical experience and knowledge with techniques for planning, organizing, and monitoring multiple IT projects simultaneously.
• 5-7 years experience.

Duration: 12 months 

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Ability to coordinate the design, deployment and migration to a new Directory Service, including Identity Management and Public Key Infrastructure components, in a complex, heterogeneous Technology and Business Application Environment
  • Clear understanding of Business/Technical Requirements, Statement of Work, and Strategic Plan creation as they apply to projects. Solid understanding of System Development Life Cycle, Project/Product and other methodologies
  • Project or Product Management experience in all facets of technology implementation (unit, functional, integration, system, regression, penetration, and performance) is required
  • Procurement, Financial/Risk analysis and tracking, Business analysis and Marketing experience in large enterprise environment is a definite asset

Technical Capabilities:
  • Demonstrated expertise in the field of Infrastructure Architecture, planning, and execution.
  • Strong knowledge of NetIQ eDirectory/IM and Microsoft Active Directory DS/FIM, including Exchange and third-party application integrations

Experience and Qualifications:
  1. 7+ years' of progressive project management experience within large organizations with a track record of delivering projects to completion
  2. 7+ years' demonstrated experience with public sector online service delivery projects
  3. 7+ years' demonstrated leadership and hands-on experience managing and coordinating Web Accessibility subject matter experts to drive improvements to legacy and new web applications and related digital content within large organizations using agile methods to ensure conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level A and Level AA
  4. 7+ years' demonstrated experience with producing user-friendly slide decks and successfully delivering Executive-level presentations to diverse audiences using simple business language
  5. 7+ years' demonstrated experience successfully building partnerships with key stakeholders in order to achieve project results
  6. Proficiency with project management tools (such as MS Project) to produce realistic and clear project plans, work-breakdown structures, resource plans, and budget plans

  8. Excellent ability to coach, mentor, and train business and technical teams on digital accessibility processes, best practices, and tools
  9. Proficiency with Windows 10, Mobile OS (iOS, Android), MS Office 2013+ applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), SDLC Tools (such as JIRA, GitHub, MS TFS, HPE ALM), Accessibility Testing Tools, Adobe Acrobat Pro, BI Tools (PowerBI, Tableau, SAP Lumira)
  10. IAAP Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) or an equivalent credential is a definite asset.
